The world lives in fear. Fear of the great menace of CAPTAIN, ever lurking, threatening all with it's seemingly random raids and attacks. For years, the world observed CAPTAIN's rise to power, but nobody could tell exactly where the underground force was located, and so, the world continued in fear, until, one day, a large tidal wave circled the globe, signifying the destruction of the Water Crystal. The Water Crystal was the single force that had absolute control over the seas, and now they ravage any ship to travel on them. Tides shift uncontrollably, moist rivers, lakes, and even ocean would be dry land in the blink of an eye.
The destruction of this Crystal is the single most important event to happen in ages, and triggered two key reactions. Firstly, the Planet took action. In the destruction of the Crystal, it's energies were released into the earth, and monsters rose from the soil. These monsters were made up of the Crystal itself, in extremely diluted volumes, and some, not so diluted. Along with the regular monsters, the Planet summoned up the four ArchFiends to protect the remaining Crystals, and the sacred grounds where the Water Crystal would be restored. The Blighted Despot, Scarmiglione, The Drowned King, Cagnazzo, The Empress of the Winds, Barbariccia, and the Autarch of Flame, Rubicante. And so, the Planet had played it's part, the rest would be up to humankind. In turn, the people rose up, banded together, and formed an organization known as the Crystalian Army, who harness and embrace the powers of the planet, mixed with their own skill, to fight CAPTAIN at every turn, and slay the evil creatures that the Planet has summoned up in order to restore the fallen Crystal.
Still, three crystals remain, and though CAPTAINs goals are unknown, it is obvious that they must be stopped. You, a new recruit in the Crystalian Army, must rise above the ranks, prove yourself, slay the beasts, stop CAPTAIN, and overall, have fun, and enjoy your stay at Crystal Fantasies.
Crystal Fantasies is a mixture between Stat and Text-based RPG, based off of the popular Final Fantasy franchise. It's a brand new site with tons to offer. You can come in, create your own character, and immerse yourself in our world!
