Walking down a long and lonesome road one day, with no company but your team of Pokemon...you come across a strange, glowing portal.

The warm, glowing shades of orange and purple seem so peaceful and inviting. A faded image of a beautiful meadow is seen within. There's a certain psychological gravity to it, one that you can't quite place your finger on - the portal seems to calm your nerves, make you feel rested and relaxed.
How are things in life? comes a voice from the portal. The voice is soft, touching. You long for its sound. Are things getting you down...? Does the mere stress of life feel like a massive weight on your shoulders, one that you can never get rid of...? Do you wish it would all just...go away?
We have the answer. Join us. Enter the portal. You'll be taken far from these painful thoughts and worries. You'll go to a place where there is no stress, no depression, no hassles of everyday life.
Enter Dimension Number 2, and you will be free.
Unconsciously, you take a step towards the portal. You come to your senses, trying to drive out the manipulative forces of this entity. Leave your world behind? All your friends, family, and everything you know? Perhaps...forever?
You turn and walk away, wanting nothing to do with this place. Inviting as it may seem, you have plenty reason to stay in your own world. But just as you think you're home free...
The portal is angry now. The mental and emotional beckoning morphs into a physical one as it literally sucks you in like a black hole. You struggle with all the strength you can muster, but it is never enough. As you fall through the abyss, screaming for your life, the portal closes quickly. Nothing but the echo of an evil, insane chuckle lingers behind...
