Snow was all about Viridian Forest. An Espeon Pokémorph and her four Pokémon were walking over a nice crunchy layer of it. The stuff covered the tall trees, and a few icicles hung here and there. It was rather pretty with the sun shining down and casting rays which sparkled as they hit the snow and ice. It was cold, yes, but the sun did nothing to improve that. The beauty and snow made up for the temperature, in Sulteron's opinion. No, what really was making the 'morph fed up was the way this route was so much like a maze. Sorati the Murkrow, who had flown a little ahead, landed on a branch and gasped. ~Sulteron!~ he said in an urgent tone.
The girl was startled, and rushed up to see what was wrong. Had something happened? Fairo the Charmander looked a little anxious. ~What's wrong?~ he asked. Sorati looked back at Sulteron. ~What does that make it, six?~ he said in a perfectly calm tone, looking pointedly at an interestingly shaped tree. Fairo and Sulteron groaned, but Lux the Riolu and Lila the Eevee chuckled. Sorati had been counting the times they'd passed that tree, but he'd never made it that dramatic. He flew down to land on the ground, taking a bow while Fairo rolled his eyes. He wasn't amused by this since he had got caught in it.
Sorati stuck his toungue out, which was the last straw for Fairo. Scooping up some snow, he quickly smooshed it together and threw the snowball at the Murkrow. He gasped as it hit him, then glared back at Fairo. He then threw another. Lila joined in, and soon all of Sulteron's team including their trainer were having a snowball fight. It wasn't an anger thing; their laughter was pretty loud. +I doubt we'll see any wild Pokémon now...+ Sulteron heard Lux speak to her through telepathy. +Maybe something fun-loving will come along. Oh, well! At least we're having some fun, yeah?+ she said back with her mind. She felt the Riolu agree, and the snowball fight continued.

Two eyes peered through a snow covered bush. Within minutes, multiple snowballs began flying through the bush and into the snowball fray between Sulteron and her party. Each snowball was wet and had a hint of mud caked in the middle, making each hit smell terrible and if it got in your mouth, taste disgusting.
Out came a Wooper who seemed ecstatic and cheerful, came prancing along while throwing utterly revolting snowballs at all the pokemon and Sulteron. Laughing and enjoying the cold weather with them. The Wooper knew that it was weird to just appear out of no where and participate in someone else's activities, but it was quite lonely in the forest during Winter when certain pokemon were hibernating.

Sulteron blinked as a nasty smell hit her nostrils and vaugly brown muddy snowball hit here. Huh? She was fairly certain none of her Pokémon were making muddy snowballs. Then she spies a Wooper. Aw, it was cute! A Wooper was a Water and Ground type, and had a fairly OK moveset. They weren't Sulteron's favourite Pokémon, but she might still decide to catch it. After all, it was a Wooper! In the Kanto region!
While the others accepted Wooper with the fight, Sorati, rude as ever, decided to ask some questions as he felt like it. He didn't even think about how Wooper might react to the questions, he just asked them. ~Hey, Wooper! Don't your kind usually live in the Johto region?~ he was a little confused as to why it'd strayed over here.

The Wooper paused. "Aren't you originally from the Johto Region." the Wooper retorted with a smirk. This second side of Wooper was nearly the opposite of the first impression. "If you must know, you can really find any pokemon if you know where to look and have the patience. Besides, few of my kind can be spotted around this region." Wooper stated.
He smiled and blew a very light, beautiful, and glistening Water Gun at Sorati that could only nearly splash Sorati. Yet only having the force of water dropping from a kitchen sink. He loved showing off. It seemed to be his pride and joy.

Sulteron was listening to what Wooper was telling Sorati. So, she could find more than just Kanto region Pokémon out here? That was good, she supposed. It meant more variety. She wouldn't mind collecting all the Kanto region Pokémon there were, though... that would definately be pretty cool. She smiled. Yes, that would be a good idea. But that wouldn't be for a while. Anyway, she should focus on now.
Now was what Sorati was doing. The Murkrow had decided that the Water Gun, despite it being so weak, had been the spark of a battle. Without waiting for any orders from Sulteron, he smiled. ~Oh, so it's a battle you want?~ he said, before launching into attack; a Pursuit, to be exact. Sulteron sighed, but prepared to give orders. She would probably catch this Wooper if she won.

The Wooper shook his head. This Murkrow was kind of ridiculous. The Pursuit hit, but the attack only made the Wooper take four steps back. While the Murkrow was still close, Wooper charged at the bird with a Slam.

Sulteron was a little confused as the Pursuit didn't seem to have much of an effect on the Wooper. Why was that? Pursuit was a decent move. Then- wait, was that a Slam? Wooper didn't learn that move until level 15! Uh-oh. Trust Sorati to go pecking off more than he could chew. "Sorati, stop! We can't win, he's at too high a level!" she called. The Murkrow narrowed his eyes, but could see her point. That Slam did look quite strong, and his Pursuit hadn't won much damage. He flew over the attack, landing on his trainer's shoulder and sulking. He hated giving up.
Sulteron wasn't too keen on giving up either, but it had to be done; if she had continued, she would have lost and Sorati would have been badly hurt. She wasn't even sure if he'd have been able to take that Slam attack. The 'morph bent down to Wooper height. "You're a much higher level than us, I'm afraid. However, feel free to tag along with us in our search for a Pokémon we stand a chance against!" she said, both inviting and complimenting the Water type. She hoped they would manage to find something they would be able to fight.

Most everyone had said that there were things that humans still did not know about pokemon. For one thing, it didn't take rocket science to know how to Slam someone. But there was once a suspicion of all adult pokemon having a 0.3% chance of having a learned move of any type a TM move. This was not confirmed, but here takes place another reason to be mysterious. For this Wooper, was only level 6. (I heard this on some episode once)
The Wooper was rather proud of the fact that he was taken as a highly-valued and somehow a 'threat' to them. He chuckled, but he had no adventure, no activity that was truly heart-pounding currently in his life. "I would love to." The Wooper smirked. It made a gurgle sound in its throat that was rather irksome, but its facial expression was pleasant.

Sulteron beamed, happy that the strange Water type had chosen to tag along. She supposed it might have learned Slam from and egg move or TM or something... no, that was silly. There were no TMs in the wild! Sorati cooed softly, shuffling his wings. He was hoping that Sulteron planned to search for some Pokémon. That reminded the Espeon 'morph of her current task, and she smiled.
Well, if the previous times she had turned off that way, then this time... it would be a good idea to head this way, would it not? At, least, she thought she'd gone that way. She wasn't sure... this was kind of annoying, but she then had an idea. "Fairo, scratch a mark into that tree to show which way we went in case we come by here again." she said. The Charmander obeyed, and the group continued into Viridian Forest, always aware for the Pokémon that called this place their home; mostly Bug, Normal, Grass and Flying types, right? Sulteron didn't know what they might encounter next; Wooper had been an oddity, after all.

Not to far away was the faint sound of chirping. Behind a bush, across a lake, behind a fight between a girl a bit older than Sulteron. A Pidgeotto was protecting her baby Pidgeys. Four to be exact. This trainer was no person to play around with. "Machop! Low Kick!" the girl commanded. Her rather venomous looking Machop did as commanded and swept the Pidgeotto off its feet, whether it was super effective or not.
The girl's battling style was questionable considering see seemed to have better than a Machop. And she attacked head on and defended head on. Her Machop was beat, but seemed far from quitting. This Machop had quite a personality. Venomous, angry, hot-headed, fierce. It screamed in rage when the Pidgeotto knocked it down with Wing Attack.
After releasing a battle cry, it ignored its trainer and started using Mega Punch. The Pidgeotto barely dodged and the Machops nearly took out a tree. A circle was in the trunk. The very trunk of the tree where the Pidgey evolutions seemed to be settled.

Sulteron's eyes widened at her latest encounter, shocked. How could that trainer do that and live with herself? The poor Pidgeotto was trying to protect her little Pidgeys (speaking of which, were one of Sulteron's very Pokémon and insanely adorable), yet this trainer felt she could just attack her? That was wrong, so very wrong. Sulteron was burning with a strong passion, her violet eyes blazing and red gem literally glowing.
"Hey, you! Stop!" she called, racing forwards and not really knowing what she was doing. Her Pokémon ran forward too, intent on stopping this evil trainer. Sulteron faced the girl and her Machop, a fiery determination leaking off her, making her actually intimidating. Lux, her Riolu, felt this especially since she could sense aura. Sulteron glanced at Pidgeotto. "Pidgeotto, I'll help you. Don't worry." she turned back to the trainer. "I'd stop that right now, if I were you." she glared, prepared to use her Espeonic powers.

"Zangoose, take care of them." The girl commanded. "Machop, Low Kick again, finish it off." She hissed. The Machop did as said. The Pidgeotto fluttered up to dodge the first one but it landed rather fast and got swept onto the ground at an incredible strength. The Pidgeotto wasn't knocked out, but was brutally tired and was definitely going to take time before getting up.
The Zangoose's claw glowed when a Fire Blast shot out of nowhere and instantly took out the Zangoose. "Oh no!" The girl said when she saw the Fire Blast.. Yet not seeming to care of the fact that she had a Ko'd pokemon. A boy slightly older than Sulteron shot through the bushes with a Ponyta behind him.
Before Sulteron had time to get surprised, he said, "Tms" and turned to the devious girl. "Natalya, what are you doing?" He snapped. His sunglasses disguised his eyes. He didn't need them, but he wore them anyway. You could tell he had a bit of an ego and was what one would call cool. "Great, it's Ace..." She mumbled. Turning her focus from her prize. The Pidgeys in the nest.

Sulteron watched as something behind her took out this girl's- or Natalya, as this Ace seemed to call her- Zangoose. Turning round, she saw Ace with his Ponyta. Ah, good! This guy looked way more experienced than her, so hopefully he'd be a lot of help in the current situation. He appeared to be a stereotypical 'cool guy', doing good for the poor Pidgeotto and her little chicks. That was excellent, especially the fact that he seemed to be a stronger trainer than Natalya.
They seemed to know each other; perhaps they were even brother and sister, Sulteron didn't know. Boy, she would sure hate to have Natalya for a sister. The Espeon 'morph looked at her Pokémon, frowning as she saw Natalya was still going for the poor Pidgeys. "Right, do what you can to stop her. I'm gonna tend to Pidgeotto." she told them. They nodded, racing at their newest target. Sorati fluttered annoyingly about Natalya's head, while Fairo used Embers on her here and there. Lila and Lux the Eevee and Riolu squirmed about Natalya's feet.
Sulteron would normally have thought about how proud of her Pokémon she was, but there was no time for that. She dashed over to Pidgeotto's side. It was a good thing the bird was very weak rather than fainted, since it meant Sulteron's Potions would have an affect. It was the best the girl could do to use a Potion on the Pidgeotto mother, hoping it would heal her well enough to enable her to defend herself.

Natalya had a fit as she was swarmed by Sulteron's party. She couldn't send out one of her powerful pokemon because she was being swarmed. Not only that but Ace would probably blow it up. Natalya was just barely able to slowly inch towards the enst. She made little progress and was fighting exhaustion. Doing anything in her power not to collapse.
Ace saw Sulteron head to the Pidgeotto's aid and also eyed Sulteron's team attacking his rival. He grinned. This girl knew what she was doing, he'd give her that. There really was nothing left for him to do. So he just leaned against a tree and watched.

Sulteron could see her Pokémon were doing a good job, and they felt so too. They were pleased to be working in a team for good, beating the girl. She needed to learn that she couldn't take away Pokémon from their parents by force before they were ready. The only time that would be right was if she had their parent's permission. The group didn't want to hurt the human, so stopped attacking, standing protectively guarding the Pidgey chicks.
Sulteron was proud of them, and decided to send something of her own to Natalya. +Stay away from the Pidgeys, Natalya...+ she said telepathically, something she extremely rarely did. Now she needed to tend to the Pidgeotto. That was her priority right now. If she could heal the mother, she would be able to defend her chicks even better. She didn't know too much about healing Pokémon, but she could try. The Potion would hopefully have an effect, but in the meanwhile Sulteron gently stroked the Flying type's head with one hand, using the other to search for any broken bones or other serious injuries.

Ace smirked and tossed a pink and indigo can at Sulteron. It rolled and then stopped right at her feet. It was made of a metallic material and on the back was a description in a sign kind of format. Hyper Potion! This is a container that holds a chemically combined group of substances that act together to create a soothing feel when it penetrates the body. It does so by reacting to the stiffness on the injury and by temperatures of thermal energy the body of pokemon and humans give off. It then listed the ingredients and all that stuff. Natalya snarled at the comment by Sulteron. She seemed to be easily angered because with building up rage and adrenaline, she managed to take out two her pokeballs. "Eki...i." She gasped. "P..oli..w" She panted. She then was overwhelmed by Sulteron's pokemon and took a tumble into the dirt. A Poliwag and an Ekans appeared out of red light, but soon after they were unintentionally or intentionally Ko'd by the many attacks that may somehow have not had made contact with the feeble girl. Natalya definitely was not as strong as she looked.

Sulteron smiled at Ace. He'd given her a Hyper Potion to help Pidgeotto with. That was nice of him, plus it would definately be effective since Hyper Potions healed Pokémon a lot. She rubbed it in the bird's feathers, hoping she would feel a lot better because of this. She glanced over at her Pokémon. At first, the Ekans and Poliwag had looked a threat, but not now. Natalya wasn't all she made herself out to be, was she? Perhaps if she calmed down a little and she was sure Pidgeotto was secure, Sulteron would battle her.

The chirping became more urgent than it already had been. Though no one took notice. The Machop had snuck away from the fray and wiped out a Pidgey with Karate Chop. It then picked it roughly in his arm and just walked somewhere behind the battle, hoping not to get noticed.
Natalya just lay there as she was pummeled into ashes by Sulteron's party. Her body was covered in bruises and she struggled against the brute force the team seem to gather with each set of blows. It was inspiring somehow....
Ace just leaned against the tree, seeing Sulteron was pleased with his effort to help. No matter how lazy he seemed to look. He was a little bit surprised he wasn't recognized. Or more, he or Natalya weren't recognized.
Ace and Natalya use to be battle tag-teams in multiple tournaments. When they lost their title as 'Greatest Team', Natalya blamed it on Ace and left. Ace was then more successful than Natalya. Having 5 badges and three contest ribbons. Natalya only having 3 badges.

Sulteron's team had stopped attacking Natalya, instead moving back to guard the Pidgeys more closely, leaving the girl alone but remaining near the Pidgeys so if she came too close, they could give her a little nip. Sorati flew up to guard the nest itself, and squawked in shock- only three out of four Pidgeys were in here! His eyes searched the scene, eventually locking on Machop whom he saw holding a fainted one. But... he couldn't leave the others!
Sulteron followed the startled Sorati's gaze, finding Machop and having her own eyes widen in shock. She would have to help the poor Pidgey, but what about Pidgeotto? The Flying type had the benefits of a Potion and Hyper Potion, so should hopefully be fine after a moment or two. She didn't really want to leave the bird, but she had to. For Pidgey's sake.
The Espeon Pokémon raced towards Machop, thinking briefly about changing into her Espeon form. She decided against it, since she would be unable to carry Pidgey as a Pokémon. She lunged for the bird, hoping to grab it straight from the Fighting type.

This was a rather demonic Machop. A somewhat murderous type pokemon. When Sulteron jumped for the Pidgey. He jumped out of the way, intentionally falling on the Pidgey in his arms and slamming it to the ground. He laughed as he stood up. He did know however, that Sulteron wanted to get the Pidgey from his strong grasp. He was the last pokemon standing on Natalya's side. He had to pull through. He had to show Natalya his potential. It seemed to be the only way to prove himself in his mind.

Sulteron gasped as she saw the poor Pidgey, the baby chick, a perfectly innocent, defenseless Pokémon, being slammed into the ground. How could Machop do such a horrible thing? Adrenalin pulsed around her body, and she felt herself get the strength boost the natural chemical offered. She felt she could do this. Her one goal was to retrieve the little Pidgey and deliver it safely back to its mother. Without knowing what she was doing, she felt herself slip from being human, the Pokémorph transforming into her Espeon from.
Now she would be more agile, able to take Pidgey easier. Espeon were one of the fastest Pokémon out there; faster than a Machop for sure. Sulteron pushed off with her four paws, lunging for Pidgey. She aimed to snap loosen Machop's hold for just long enough for her to sieze hold of the small bird with telekenisis, something she'd only be able to keep going for a few seconds.
