Erin calmly walked into route 101. This was all new to her. Adventure, training pokemon, and learning how to take care of pokemon on her own. Her torchic, newly named Apple, was wide-eyed not used to setting foot out side of the lab. She wiggled to get out of Erin's arms to walk on her own.
Apple was set down and she looked around. "This is a small part of the world Apple," Erin told her pokemon. Apple thought what the whole world would be like but she couldn't exactly talk to Erin about her newfound emotions.

ooc; In case you didn't know, you're second starter is the first pokemon you find in the wild.
Bic; A shadow was faintly planted in the grass. It made this unnerving and spooky chant. It was hard to spot at first. Three gems formed an upside down triangle along the shadow. It was not a normal image. Cheery sun, clear skies, a disturbing shadow that cackled on the ground. The weather suddenly changed, wind whipped everywhere. Clouds turned into a pitch-black color. The sky was a sickening crimson color. Clouds boardered a circle, making it look like portal was blowing out in intense winds. Then, the shadow formed from the ground. Ink colored goo was brought together, gems formed on the figure's face and chest. Before Erin with an evil grin, was a Sableye.

(Oops didn't know thanks.)
Erin took a step back in awe and dread for the dark creature that stood in front of her. She felt that it was dangerous yet she wanted it as her own. She looked at Apple, who seemed to be scared out of her mind. Apple wanted to run but the creatures gem eyes kept her captivated. "Apple we're going to catch this Pokemon."

The Sableye's eyes glinted as the abnormal weather went on. It waited for the Torchics move. Though Sableye knew there was noway to catch this pokemon. The Sableye was a ghost type, and the Sableye had been spying on Erin like he did wth all of his victims. He knew that the Torchic was a starter and only new Scratch, which couldn't ouch him.

Unsure of exactly what to do Erin was thinking out possibilities. She remembered her mom telling stories of the ghostly Sableyes who hide in caves and attacked others. Knowing Apple only knew scratch and growl she would defiantly lose. "Apple, I want to try something and I'm hoping it works," Erin told her Torchic. Erin grabbed a Pokeball and took a chance, she chucked it a the creature.

The pokeball sucked in the Sableye and he tried to get out. Ink colored ligaments flailed through the cracks of the pokeball and it was trapped in. The positive energy was too much for the negative energy Sableye gave of. Now, the positive energy was overwhelming the shadow. He became more freindly due to the energy that messed with his personality. Now, he was officially captured, and he would obey Erin. However, his presence still defied nature and as the Sableye's weather change faded, it would definitely come back.

Erin let out a smile almost as large as her new Sableye. "My first caught pokemon," Erin took in a deep breath and cheered. Apple snapped out of her hypnotic gaze and she learned that the scary creature was now part of the team. Apple became upset but she had to live with it.
She looked around trying to figure out what to do next. She looked around and decided to poke around in bushes. She picked up a stick and walked up to a bush and poked at it hoping to find a pokemon.

The bushes appeared to be vacant. Though over the horizon to the west side of Erin, you could see the top of the city buildings beyond, within miles ahead. Of course, it was still a ways ahead. It'd take a mere hour to actually be on the property of the city.
