Appearance:
Originally, David's hair was whiteish blond, but he dyed it black. Every so often the blond shows up, but only for a little bit. After that he dyes it black again. He usually keeps it at a medium length, but on occasion he has been seen with shorter hair. David's eyes are a brilliant blue, almost icy looking, and they go perfectly with his black hair. Before being turned into a PokéMorph, his skin was incredibly pale. Now (apart from being covered with light brown fur) his skin is a more tan color, a color that matches his fur perfectly. David also now has a long tail, ears, claws (which he paints black with fingernail polish, trickier than it sounds) and the jewel that is the most recognizable part of a Persian on his forehead.
David's usual choice of clothing are black skinny jeans, a tight black shirt, a black jacket, and a pair of black converse with pink laces. When it's extremely colder, David will dawn a back coat. Think he has enough black? Everything that he needs (or thinks he will ever need) is in his black backpack that he has had since he was 5.
Personality:
People who know David (or used to know) described his personality as one who doesn't care and a player. Both of these are correct. Or use to be. Before being kidnapped David did go through some serious depression and thoughts of suicide, but once Shadow came into his life, he became is old self again. He isn't exactly sure how Shadow helped him get out of his depression, she just did. Like when dogs visit old people in Retirement Homes, Shadow cheered up his life.
Even though David grew up in a very religious household, he never really found religion a big part of his lifestyle. Sure, he went to church and did everything that he was supposed to do, he just didn't live by it. Only when he is extremely angry/annoyed/scared/any strong emotion David cusses. He used to have an incredibly bad vocabulary, but he left his bad words with Taylor's group.
Even though he never really had a Pokemon before Shadow and didn't really seem that interested (and hadn't even considered going on a Pokemon journey), David now is somewhat obsessed with Pokemon. But maybe that's because he is part one now. That is yet another reason why he came to Moon Forest, to go on a Pokemon journey.
Since the operation, David has become more secretive and less likely to flirt. He doesn't want anyone to see him like this now. In his mind no one will find him attractive anymore. Another after effect of becoming a PokéMorph, David loves fish. Before he couldn't stand them, now he can't get enough of them.

Being born into a Mormon household, David grew up fairly religious. As a young child he loved going to church and soon became a favorite of all the teenage girls. Who wouldn't have wanted to babysit an adorable 3 year old boy with amazing blond hair? At an early age he discovered how amazing it felt to have girls fawn over him. A feeling that he would never grow tired of. Up until the age of 11 he was the perfect child. Always doing what he was told, having straight A's, and to top it all off, David was also popular. But that all changed when he met 'her'.
After his 11th birthday, a new kid arrived at school. Her name was Taylor, and David was instantly drawn to her. Not in a 'I think you are hot' way, but a 'hey, you look interesting. We should be friends' way. Taylor was different than the other girls. She hated pink, had short brown hair, always wore black and red, and was obsessed with skulls. It wasn't to long before David started ditching all of his other friends for Taylor. And it wasn't long after that that the boy first dyed his hair black. When Junior High started, David started hanging out with Taylor's group of friends.
As his parents put it, "Overnight David was transformed into the very thing we had always hoped we would never have to deal with. A punk." David hadn't entirely evolved into what his parents called 'a punk', but he was pretty close. By the time he was 12, David stopped going to church, and stayed locked up in his bedroom doing who knew what. It wasn't until his parents decided to to take matters into their own hands. What David needed was a friend. Someone who didn't didn't seem all depressed. Someone who would make him happy. So they decided to get him a Poochyena. Her name was Shadow, and soon, much to his dislike, David started acting almost normally again.
Realizing that it was incredibly unhealthy to keep staying with his group, David broke away and started to try and mend the friendships that he had broken because of Taylor. It took a whole semester, but soon life was back to the way it had been before. Well, almost. For some reason he just couldn't go back to being a blond and dressing the way he had before. He just couldn't. So David became the first person outside of Taylor's group to purposely die his hair black, wear skinny jeans, and all black.
At age 13, David's life was finally getting back together. He had started going back to church again (much to the delight of all the teenage girls, he had never stopped being hot) and he had a steady girlfriend (even though his parents didn't approve at all, he wasn't suppose to date until 16). Then tragedy struck again. On his way home from a friend's house, David was attacked and kidnapped by Team Rocket, who needed teenagers to experiment on. David had become one of those lucky few.
Finally, after experiencing the agony of having Pokemon DNA combined with his own and having to come to grips with his new ears and tail, David managed to escape from the Team Rocket base in Hoenn. But where was there to go? He couldn't return home, not just because he didn't want anyone to see him like this, no one would think he was hot now, but there were probably millions of Team Rockets swarming all over the place trying to find him. So, without second thought, the new Persian PokéMorph headed off to Kanto, hoping that if he kept moving, Team Rocket wouldn't be able to find him..
